Virtual disks (VDisks) or VDisk copies are corrupted if
they have lost cached data or space-efficient metadata, usually as
a result of hardware failure. A Fast Write State of Corrupt indicates
this data loss.
You can recover all corrupted VDisks and VDisk copies in a
cluster. This task assumes that you have already launched the SAN Volume Controller Console.
Perform the following steps to recover VDisks and VDisk
copies by cluster:
- Click in the portfolio. The Viewing Virtual Disks panel is
displayed.
- Select Recover All VDisks from the
task list and click Go. The Recovering All
VDisks panel is displayed. Click OK.
- Verify that the VDisks and VDisk copies have completed
recovery by monitoring the VDisk Recovery Results panel.
