Use
the Filtering Master VDisk Candidates panel in the Creating
a Metro or Global Mirror Relationship wizard to specify filter criteria
to
limit the number of master virtual disk (VDisk) candidates that are
displayed.
Introduction
Filtering
is useful when you have a large number of VDisks
that
can be displayed. If you do not specify filter criteria, the SAN Volume Controller default
settings are used.
Fields
The
following fields are available to filter the VDisk candidate list:
- Virtual Disk Name
- Enter the full or partial name
of the VDisk to select as the master VDisk.
If you use a partial VDisk name, you must follow the name with an
asterisk
(*). For example, if you want to display only those VDisks with a
name that
starts with the characters Vlun, enter Vlun*.
- IO Group Name
- Select the I/O group
that has the VDisk that you want to
designate as the master VDisk.
