Use the Deleting a Metro or Global Mirror Relationship
panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
delete a Metro
Mirror or Global Mirror relationship.
Introduction
Deleting
a relationship only deletes the logical relationship between the two
virtual disks (VDisks); it does not delete the VDisks.
If the local and remote clusters are disconnected, only the
relationship that is stored in the local cluster is deleted. If the
clusters are reconnected, the relationship that is stored in the remote
cluster is automatically deleted.
Note: If an inconsistent relationship
is deleted, the secondary VDisk becomes accessible even though it
is still inconsistent. This is the one case where Metro
Mirror and Global Mirror functions
permit access to inconsistent data.
Fields
