Use the Modifying Metro or
Global Mirror Relationships
panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
change the attributes for a Metro
Mirror or Global Mirror relationship.
Attributes
The following attributes
are displayed
in the table:
- Relationship Name
- Displays the
name of the relationship.
- Relationship
ID
- Displays the ID that is assigned to this relationship.
- Copy Type
- Displays the
copy type for this relationship. The following
values are possible:
- Metro
- Synchronous copy
- Global
- Asynchronous copy
- Consistency Group Name
- Displays
the name of the consistency group for which this relationship
is a member.
Fields
You
can update the following fields to change
attributes of the relationship:
- New Relationship
Name
- Enter the new name for the relationship.
- Consistency Group Name
- Select the consistency
groups for which the relationship can become a
member.
- Change to a stand-alone relationship
(remove from the consistency group)
- Check the
box to remove this relationship from the consistency
group. This does not delete the relationship. The relationship is
then controlled
as a stand-alone relationship rather than as part of a group
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- OK
- Click
this button to change the relationship.
- Cancel
- Click this button to exit the panel without changing the relationship.
