Use
the Modifying Managed Disk Groups panel in
the SAN Volume Controller Console to
change the name or reset the capacity warning
level of a selected managed disk (MDisk) group.
Attributes
The
following attributes are displayed in the table:
- MDisk
Group Name
- Displays the current name of the MDisk group.
- MDisk Group ID
- Displays the system-assigned
ID for the MDisk group.
- Capacity
- Displays
the size of the MDisk group. The size equals the total
capacity
of all the MDisks that are assigned to this group. If the capacity
is less
than one gigabyte, the capacity is displayed in MB; otherwise, it
is displayed
in GB.
Note: The capacity is rounded to two decimal places.
- Used Capacity
- Displays
the amount of capacity that is used by the selected MDisk group.
Fields
You
can update the following fields:
- MDisk Group Name
- Enter a new name for the MDisk group.
- Warn
when used capacity reaches:
- Specify
a threshold to send a warning error log for the MDisk
when the capacity that is used first exceeds the specified level.
You can
either specify a percentage of MDisk capacity or enter a specific
amount of
capacity to be allocated. If you enter a specific amount, you must
also select
the units for the space. The following units can be selected:
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- OK
- Click
this button to change the MDisk group.
- Cancel
- Click this button to exit the panel without changing the MDisk
group.
