User management commands

You can use the command-line interface (CLI) to configure remote authentication service and manage users and user groups on the cluster.

The following user management commands are available:
chauthservice
Configures the remote authentication service of the cluster.
chcurrentuser
Changes the attributes of the current user.
chuser
Changes the attributes of an existing user.
chusergrp
Changes the attributes of an existing user group.
lscurrentuser
Displays the name and role of the logged-in user. See the lscurrentuser command in the Information commands section.
lsuser
Lists the users who have been created on the cluster. See the lsuser command in the Information commands section.
lsusergrp
Lists the user groups that have been created on the cluster. See the lsusergrp command in the Information commands section.
mkuser
Creates either a local or a remote user to access a SAN Volume Controller cluster.
mkusergrp
Creates a new user group.
rmuser
Removes a user.
rmusergrp
Removes a user group.
