You can migrate all the data that is associated with any
type of virtual disk (VDisk) to an image mode VDisk using the Migrate
to an Image Mode VDisk wizard.

You can migrate all the data that is associated with any
type of virtual disk (VDisk) to an image mode VDisk using the Migrate
to an Image Mode VDisk wizard in the SAN Volume Controller Console guide
you through the steps for migrating data from a virtual disk to a
different managed disk.
Migrating to an image mode VDisk–Select the target MDisk
You must select the managed disk (MDisk) that the VDisk
data will be migrated to. This step is part of the Migrate to an Image
Mode Virtual Disk (VDisk) wizard in the SAN Volume Controller Console.
Migrating to an image mode VDisk–Select MDisk group
Use the Select MDisk Group panel in the Migrate to an Image
Mode Virtual Disk (VDisk) wizard to specify the managed disk (MDisk)
that will contain the MDisk you selected earlier in the wizard and
the VDisk that you are migrating.
Migrating to an image mode VDisk–Select the threads
Use the Select the Threads panel in the Migrate to an Image Mode
Virtual Disk (VDisk) wizard to optionally specify the number of threads to
use for the migration process.
