Use the Select MDisk Group panel in the Migrate to an Image
Mode Virtual Disk (VDisk) wizard to specify the managed disk (MDisk)
that will contain the MDisk you selected earlier in the wizard and
the VDisk that you are migrating.
Attributes
The
following attributes are displayed in the table:
- Select
- Allows you to select the MDisk Group to use to perform an action
from the task list.
Note: Only one row can be selected at a time.
- Name
- Displays the name of the MDisk.
- State
- Displays the current state of the MDisk group. The state can be
one of the following values:
- Online
- Indicates that the MDisk group is online and available and that
all the MDisks in the group are available.
- Degraded
- Indicates that the MDisk group is available, but one or more MDisks
are missing from the group because they are either offline or excluded.
- Offline
- Indicates that the MDisk group is offline and unavailable. All
the MDisks are missing from the group because they are all offline
or excluded.
- MDisk Count
- Displays the number of MDisks that are assigned to this group.
- VDisk Count
- Displays the number of virtual disk (VDisk) copies that have been
created from this group.
- Capacity
- Displays the size of the MDisk group. The size equals the total
capacity of all the MDisks that are assigned to this group. If the
capacity is less than one gigabyte, the capacity is displayed in MB;
otherwise, it is displayed in GB.
Note: The capacity is rounded to
two decimal places.
- Extent Size
- Displays the size of the extents that are allocated in the group.
This value is chosen when the group is created. The following values
are valid:
- 16 MB
- 32 MB
- 64 MB
- 128 MB
- 256 MB
- 512 MB
- 1024 MB
- 2048 MB
- Free Space
- Displays the amount of free space, in MB, that is in this group.
The space equals the total capacity that is available for creating
new VDisks. This is equal to the capacity of all the MDisks that are
in the group minus the capacity of the VDisks created from this group.
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- Back
- Click this button to return to the previous wizard panel.
- Next
- Click this button after you have completed this panel.
- Cancel
- Click this button to exit this wizard without migrating to an
image mode VDisk.
