Use the Viewing iSCSI Properties panel in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
view attributes that are associated with iSCSI-attached hosts.
Attributes
The
following attributes are displayed:
- iSNS Server Address
- Displays the IP address for the Internet Storage Name Service
(iSNS) server that is used to manage the iSCSI devices that are used
in a network.
- Supported Authentication Methods
- Displays the supported
authentication method between the iSCSI-attached hosts and the SAN Volume Controller.
- CHAP
- Indicates that Challenge-Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP)
is the authentication method that is used between iSCSI-attached hosts
and the SAN Volume Controller cluster.
- None
- Indicates that no authentication method is used to authenticate SAN Volume Controller cluster
to iSCSI-attached hosts.
- CHAP Secret
- Displays the shared secret that is used to authenticate the SAN Volume Controller cluster
to the iSCSI-attached hosts.
