Use the Viewing Users panel on the SAN Volume Controller Console to
display the users who have access to the cluster and cluster operations.
Only users with Security Administrator role can view and modify users.
Attributes
The
following attributes are displayed:
- Select
- Specifies the user to use to complete an action from the task
list.
Note: Only one row can be selected at a time.
- Name
- Displays the name of the user.
- User Group Name
- Displays the name of the user group that this user belongs to.
- Password
- Displays whether this user has a password. The following values
are possible:
- Yes
- Indicates that the user currently has a password assigned.
- No
- Indicates that the user currently does not have a password assigned.
- Authentication
- Displays the authentication method for the user. The following
values are possible:
- Remote
- Indicates that the user is authenticated to the cluster by a remote
authentication service.
- Local
- Indicates that the user is authenticated to the cluster using
the SAN Volume Controller cluster
authentication.
- SSH Key
- Displays whether there is an SSH key that is associated with the
user. The following values are possible:
- Yes
- Indicates that there is an SSH key that is associated with the
user.
- No
- Indicates that there is not an SSH key that is associated with
the user.
Actions
You
can select one of the following tasks from the task list:
- Create a User
- Modify a User
- Delete Users
Note: With the exception of the Create
a User task, you must first select a user before you can
select a task.
- Go
- Click this button after selecting a task from the task list. Clicking Go launches
the panel for the task that you selected.
- Refresh
- Click this button to refresh the table with changed values.
