Use the Viewing VDisk Copy Verification Progress panel
in the SAN Volume Controller Console to
check the progress of a virtual disk (VDisk) copy verification process.
The VDisk copy verification process checks if data on the copies matches
the data on the primary VDisk.
Attributes
The
following attributes are displayed in the table:
- VDisk ID
- Displays the system-assigned identifier for the VDisk.
- VDisk Name
- Displays the name of the VDisk.
- Copy ID
- Displays the system-assigned identifier for the VDisk copy that
is being verified.
- Task
- Displays the action that is being taken during the verification
process. The following values are available:
- Resync
- Indicates that the verification process is now copying data from
the primary copy of the VDisk to mirrored copies. This process ensures
that all copies are identical. This task corresponds with the Resync
copies with primary action on the Verify VDisk Copies
panel.
- Medium
- Indicates that the verification process is converting sectors
which contain different contents into virtual medium errors on the
specified VDisk copy. This task corresponds with the Create as
virtual medium errors action on the Verify VDisk Copies panel.
- Validate
- Indicates that the verification process is reporting if synchronized
copies of the specified VDisk are identical. This task corresponds
with the Stop at first difference action on the Verify VDisk
Copies panel.
- Progress
- Indicates the percentage of the VDisk copy verification process
that is complete.
- Estimated Completion Time
- Displays the estimated time of completion for the VDisk copy verification
process.
Actions
The
following actions are available:
- Go
- Click this button after selecting a task from the task list. Clicking Go launches
the panel for the task that you selected.
Note: Only table filter tasks
are available from the task list.
- Refresh
- Click this button to refresh the table with changed values.
- Close
- Click this button to exit the panel.
