and upgrade or reinstall an existing SAN Volume Controller Console installation.
Overview of the upgrade or reinstallation process
The
following list provides an overview of the upgrade or reinstallation
tasks, as well as any configuration tasks that you must perform after
you upgrade or reinstall the
SAN Volume Controller Console:
- Upgrade or reinstall the SAN Volume Controller Console in
graphical mode with the help of an installation wizard. If errors
were generated during the upgrade or reinstallation process, you must
remove and reinstall the SAN Volume Controller Console.
- Verify that the IBM® WebSphere® Application Server V6 - SVC is
installed and started on your system.
- Use a Web browser to access the SAN Volume Controller Console.
- Identify the clusters that are to be managed by the SAN Volume Controller Console.
