Viewing System Information

The System Information Report contains information on the following library information:

Date & Time — Current date, time, and time zone settings.
Physical Library — Host name, IPv4 address, serial number, firmware version of the physical library, IPv6 addresses if IPv6 support is enabled, board support package (BSP) level, and the date the BSP was last updated. If the library contains a Model 2 robot, there is a listing for the robot firmware version.
Encryption (displays only if EKM is licensed and configured) — Key server type, encryption software version, SSL connection enabled/disabled, primary host (primary key server IP address or host name), primary port, primary server serial number, secondary host IP address or hostname, secondary port, and secondary server serial number.

Library Partitions — Name, serial number, control path, mode, encryption method, encryption system type, number of slots, number of media, number of tape drives, and whether FIPS is configured for each partition.

NOTE: When control path failover is configured for a partition, the partition uses a virtual World Wide Port Name (WWPN) as the control path instead of a tape drive WWPN. This virtual port is listed in the Control Path column for the partition.

Drives — Location coordinates, vendor, model, type, serial number, both physical (P-SN) and logical (L-SN), firmware level, sled boot version, sled application version of all installed tape drives, encryption method, and whether the tape drive is connected to an FC I/O blade.
FC I/O Blades — Location coordinates, World Wide Node Name (WWNN), firmware level, and status.
EE Blades — Location coordinates and status of Ethernet Expansion blades.

Users and administrators can view the System Information Report.

To view the System Information Report, select Reports > System Information.

The System Information Report displays in a new window.
