About the Configuration Record
The configuration record is a text file that contains details about the library's configuration. The configuration record can be saved to a location on your hard drive or e-mailed to a specified e-mail address.
Information in the configuration record includes:
- Product information — Vendor, model, product ID, product version (library firmware version), serial number, and robot type
- License information — License description, installation date, and expiration date
- Primary network information — Host name, DHCP status, IP address, IP netmask, IP gateway, Ethernet MAC address, Ethernet link speed (Mbits/s), and Ethernet link status
- Module information — Manufacturer, model, module serial number, and location coordinates
- Tape drive information:
- SCSI tape drives — Partition name, number of partition drives, drive location, SCSI element address, online status, active status, ready state, vendor, model, serial number, tape drive firmware version, drive type, logical serial number, interface type, World Wide Node Name (WWNN), loop ID, topology, speed, and actual speed
- Fibre Channel (FC) tape drives — Partition name, number of partition drives, drive location, SCSI element address, online status, active status, ready state, vendor, model, serial number, tape drive firmware version, SNW status, drive type, logical serial number, interface type and number of ports (single or dual), World Wide Node Name (WWNN), loop ID, topology, speed, and actual speed

NOTE: If the FC tape drive is attached to an FC I/O blade, the WWNN indicates the WWNN of the FC I/O blade, not the tape drive.

- Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) tape drives — partition name, number of partition drives, drive location, SCSI element address, online status, active status, ready state, vendor, model, physical serial number, tape drive firmware level, SNW status, drive type, logical serial number, interface type and number of ports (single or dual), and SAS address
- FC I/O blade information — Blade number, blade ID, location coordinates, serial number, WWNN, firmware version, and control LUN
- Partition information:
- Library information — Number of partitions, number of cleaning slots, number of unassigned slots, number of import/export (I/E) slots, I/E manual assignment setting, and encryption test interval
- Partition details — Partition name, partition type, usage, number of slots, number of tape drives, number of media, encryption method, EDLM application, EDLM policy, online status, cleaning status, and cleaning interval
