Manage Users: Add New User

Screen Element Description
Username Enter a new user name. User account user names are limited to 1-12 alphanumeric characters.
Password Enter a password. Passwords are limited to 6-16 alphanumeric characters.
Confirm Password Re-enter a password.
Assigned role (Privileges): Select one of the following:
  • Admin - can access all areas of the library. The table below will not display.
  • Superuser
  • User - access can be restricted.

Select the logical library this user can access:

Screen Element Description
Select To select, click on the circle or click on the table row. To sort all items, click on ^.
Logical Library This identifies the logical library.
Library Type This identifies the type of library.
Media Type The type (or generation) of tape cartridge.
Total The total number of logical libraries.
Filtered The number of logical libraries filtered from the total.
Displayed The remaining number of logical libraries (Total - Filtered).
