ieslot.1 5U control module contains six I/O station slots. If your library consists of only a 5U control module, these slots are configured as I/O station slots by default.

ieslot.2 A 14U library configuration contains 18 I/O station slots. A 23U library configuration contains 30 I/E station slots. By default, 6 of the I/E station slots in these configurations are configured as I/O station slots. You can increase the number of I/O station slots from 6 to 12, 18, or 30 slots, depending on the configuration.

ssl.1 Before enabling SSL settings, make sure you enter a name for the library in the Library Name text box on the Network Configuration operator panel screen.

ssl.2 After enabling SSL settings, use that library name to access the library. If you do not use that name, you will receive a security alert.

systemsetting.1 user session timeout settings, touch screen audio, logical serial number addressing, manual cartridge assignment, remote service user settings, SSL settings, SNMP V1/V2 settings, and IPv6 settings.

systemsetting.2 The Logical SN Addressing check box allows the library to assign logical serial numbers to all tape drives in the library. Specifically, the library assigns a logical serial number to a tape drive in a specific location, not the serial number of the particular tape drive. If a tape drive is replaced by another tape drive in the same library location, the logical serial number remains the same.

systemsetting.3 From the host application's perspective, the replacement tape drive is the same as the original. By default, logical serial number addressing is disabled. If you change the logical serial number addressing setting, you must shut down the library and press the library power button (power cycle the library) or remove power from each tape drive for the change to take effect.

systemsetting.4 Touch screen audio, Manual Cartridge Assignment, Disable Remote Service User, Enable SSL, Enable SNMP V1/V2 and Enable IPv6 check boxes.

ieunlock.1 This operation locks or unlocks the doors for all I/O stations that are configured as I/O station slots. It does not lock or unlock doors for I/O stations that are configured as storage.

ieslot.3 The library must contain at least six slots configured as I/O station slots.

ieslot.4

ieslot.5

ieslot.6

ieslot.7

ieslot.8 Cleaning cartridges must have a volume serial label with a "CLN" prefix.

security.1 SSH Services - enable or disable Secure Shell (SSH) services, such as SSH (port 22), from accessing the library. This setting is enabled by default.

password.1 "secure".

ieslot.9 The library must contain at least six slots configured as I/O station slots.

fup.9 create a new field microcode replacement (FMR) tape, update tape drive firmware using a FMR tape, erase a FMR tape, manually clean a tape drive, or reset a tape drive

fup.10 The create an FMR tape operation allows you to create an FMR tape of a tape drive firmware version already installed in your library. An FMR tape is used to transfer tape drive firmware to a tape drive. Any data on the scratch tape will be overwritten when you create the FMR tape.

fup.11

fup.12 The update drive firmware using FMR operation allows you to update tape drive firmware using an existing FMR tape.

fup.13 The erase an FMR tape operation allows you to erase an FMR tape so you can reuse it as a data cartridge. Use this operation only when you need to reuse an FMR tape as a data cartridge. It is not necessary to erase an FMR tape before updating it with new tape drive firmware. In addition, this operation should not be used to erase information on a data cartridge.
