Use the Power Off Blade screen to select an FC I/O blade to power off.

You might want to turn off an FC I/O blade when performing troubleshooting procedures, such as resolving a Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability (RAS) ticket.

Turning off an FC I/O blade will cause the library to temporarily lose communication with connected host applications.

The screen lists the location and state of each FC I/O blade.

Do the following:

1. Select an FC I/O blade to power off.
2. Select Apply.

Note: At any time, select Back to return to the previous screen. Select Cancel to return to the Setup menu.
