Removing the DS8000 Storage Manager from a Linux operating system using the unattended (silent) mode

You can remove the IBM System Storage DS Storage Manager from your Linux operating system by using the unattended (silent) mode.

  1. Log on as root to the system where the DS8000 Storage Manager is installed.
  2. Type # <dest_path>\_uninst\uninstall.exe -silent where <dest_path> is the path where the DS8000 Storage Manager is installed. This runs the uninstallation program.
  3. Wait for the program to remove the DS8000 Storage Manager.
