The first step in the Express configuration wizard is to determine the type of volumes you want to create, open system or zSeries® or IBM System z.
You can configure your storage in one of three ways:
Your first option is to define the total amount of storage you want to configure
and the size of each volume. The system will then calculate the number of volumes
to be created.
Another option is to define the total amount of storage you want to configure
and the number of volumes. The system will then calculate the size of each volume
to be created.
The third option is to define the number and size of the volumes you want to
create. The system will then calculate the total amount of storage to be configured.
Next, name the volumes you just created. This step is optional.
Next, select the volumes to include in your volume groups, and name each volume group and host.
Finally, assign host attachments to your volume groups.
