Hardware configuration terms

When configuring your hardware, it is helpful to understand a few storage terms. A storage unit is a physical unit that consists of a storage server that is integrated with one or more storage devices that provide storage capability to a host computer.

A storage complex consists of one or more storage units that can be managed from a single management console.
