What types of RAID are supported?

<Previous Next>

The RAID implementation of the DS6000 system offers fault-tolerant data storage by storing the same data in different places on multiple disk drive modules. By placing data on multiple disks, input/output (I/O) operations can overlap in a balanced way to improve the basic reliability and performance of the attached storage devices. The DS6000 system supports disk drive modules in a RAID 5 or RAID 10 array.
