Apply configuration — Select storage complex (simulated only)

Use this page to select the storage complex on which you wish to apply a simulated configuration.

Introduction

To apply a configuration, first select the storage complex you want to work with. You must be network connected to the target storage unit.

Simulated manager > Manage hardware > Storage units > Select a storage unit > Select Action: Apply Configuration... > Go

Select storage complex

Select: The radio buttons for the storage complexes. Select one to specify the storage complex on which you wish to apply a simulated configuration.
Nickname: The user defined or default nickname of the storage complex.
Management Console 1: The IP address of the management console defined for the storage complex.

Status

This is the status of the storage complex. Possible states are:

Connected: There is a successful connection to the management console of this storage complex.
Unavailable: There is a failed connection to the management console of this storage complex.
