IBM NAS Gateway 500 host attachment

This section describes how you attach an IBM NAS Gateway 500 host system to a DS6000™ with fibre-channel adapters.

Note: Feature code 6239 is a 1-port 2 gigabit fibre-channel host adapter card. Feature code 6240 is a 2-port 2 gigabit fibre-channel host adapter card.

Locating the WWPN on a NAS Gateway 500 host system
You can obtain the worldwide port names (WWPN) of the fibre-channel adapters installed on NAS Gateway 500 through a Web browser or through the DS CLI. The following sections provide instructions for using these methods.
