Intel or AMD running Microsoft Windows 2000 or 2003 host attachment

This section describes how you attach an Intel or Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) host system running Windows® 2000 or 2003 to a DS6000™ with fibre-channel adapters.

Before you attach a host, review the following information:

Version 1.4.0.0 or later of the SDD supports Windows Server 2000 or 2003 host system in a clustering environment. To have failover protection on an open system, the SDD requires at least two paths, and SDD allows a maximum of 32 paths.
