Removing the power supply

Complete this task to remove the power supplies from the enclosure to reduce the weight of the enclosure during installation.

ESD warning Use approved ESD procedures to prevent damage.

The power supplies are located on right and left sides of the rear of the enclosure.

To remove the power supplies, perform the following steps:

Press the release button. This releases the handle.
Pull the handle out and towards the middle of the enclosure. This action partially ejects the power supply from the slot.
Use the handle to pull the power supply partially out of the slot.
Grip the power supply with both hands to pull the unit completely from the slot.
