Complete this task to allow multiple IP addresses on the Storage Manager.
If you have multiple IP address on the DS6000™ Storage
Manager, ensure that the first network adapter is the adapter that is on the
same subnet network as the DS6000.
If this is not the case, the binding order must be changed so that the IP
address on the same subnet (private) as the DS6000 is
listed first in the binding order.
To change the binding order for the IP address, perform the following steps:
- From the Control Panel, select .
- From the Network Connections window, select .
- In the Adapters and Bindings tab, check the list of the
network adapters to ensure that the first network adapter is the adapter that
is on the same subnet network as the DS6000.
If this is not the case, you must change the binding order so that the IP
address on the same subnet (private) as the DS6000 is
listed first in the binding order.
