Choose the DETAIL option.

Cursor-indicate in the highlighted box to select the
instance (view) for blanking.

Choose the SINGLE option.

Use the immediate mode command ALT-W to window-in on
the isometric instance.
Select entity 1   (press RETURN when done)

Cursor-indicate in the highlighted box for the first
corner of the window.

Cursor-indicate in the highlighted box for the second
corner of the window.
Indicate 2nd corner of window

ALT-W temporarily interrupts the BLANK selection(s). 
The next step selects an entity.
Select entity 1   (press RETURN when done)

Select the highlighted line. This is the entity to be
blanked in the isometric instance.
Select entity 1   (press RETURN when done)

Press ENTER to accept the selection for blanking.
     
Select entity 2   (press RETURN when done)

The blanked line no longer appears in the isometric
instance, yet remains visible elsewhere.
Select drawing instance to modify.

Cursor-indicate in the highlighted box to re-select the
isometric instance for blanking.

Choose the SINGLE option.

Select the highlighted line. 
   
Select entity 1   (press RETURN when done)

Select the highlighted line as the next entity to
be blanked.
Select entity 2   (press RETURN when done)

Select the highlighted line as the next entity to
be blanked. 
Select entity 3   (press RETURN when done)

Select the highlighted line as the next entity to
be blanked.

Select the highlighted line as the next entity to

The isometric instance with blanked geometry is
displayed. Only this instance is changed.

Press ESCAPE to return to the main menu

Pressing ESCAPE does not exit layout mode. The main menu
options remain available in this mode.
