You can turn all sounds off temporarily.
Right-click or Ctrl+click the Novell® Messenger status icon in the system tray, then select Mute.
To turn sounds back on, repeat the previous step.
If you use Mute to turn sounds off, they will be turned back on when you exit Novell Messenger and log back in.
