This property page specifies the restrictions for printing and saving and for viewing the personal histories for all users (if this is the default policy) or for the users you select on the Used By property page of this policy.
After you change information on the Personal History page of the Default Policy object, you must restart the Messenger agents in order to put the new default policy into effect throughout your Messenger system.
After you change information on the Personal History page of any other Policy object, users must log out and log back in to the Messenger client to see the results.
You can also specify these settings at the User object level. Settings on the User object override settings on the Policy object.
Allow Users to Print and Save Conversations
Select this option to allow users governed by this policy to print and save
conversations. If you disable this option, users can no longer print or save
their conversations.
Allow Users to Use Personal History
Select this option to allow users governed by this policy to save and view their
personal history of any conversations, chat rooms, and broadcasts that they
participated in.
Lock Buttons
If you click the lock button on a setting, the setting cannot be changed for
the User object.
