  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2"><I>JPGallery</I> has been improved in
  efficiency as well as functionality since version 1.0.&nbsp; The new main
  features for this release are the Gallery Preview, an FTP Publishing function
  and Image Descriptions:</FONT></P>
  <UL>
    <LI><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2"><B><FONT COLOR="#FF0000">Gallery Preview</FONT><FONT COLOR="#000080">
      </FONT></B>- Normally, when <I>JPGallery</I> creates a gallery, the
      application copies all files to the destination folder and creates
      thumbnails for each of the images.&nbsp; Depending on the size of your
      gallery, this can be a rather time consuming process.<BR>
      <BR>
      With the Gallery Preview feature, <I>JPGallery</I> merely creates the HTML
      files necessary for the gallery and leaves all images in their source
      locations.&nbsp; Then, it opens a browser window and shows you a preview
      of what the gallery will look like.&nbsp; This allows you to quickly check
      out what the results will be, and to modify parameters that you are not
      yet satisfied with.<BR>
      <BR>
      </FONT></LI>
    <LI><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2"><B><FONT COLOR="#FF0000">Internal FTP
      Client</FONT></B> - Instead of going to your FTP program after creating
      your gallery, you can now just open <I>JPGallery</I>'s own internal FTP
      tool that will upload the complete gallery to your web server for you.<BR>
      <BR>
      Using the application's own FTP client will save you from having to
      manually select and transfer all the gallery files from your local PC to
      the server you wish to place them on.<BR>
      <BR>
      </FONT></LI>
    <LI><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2"><B><FONT COLOR="#FF0000">Image Captions
      and Descriptions </FONT></B>- In addition to displaying just images in
      your galleries, add captions and text to each image.&nbsp; Descriptions
      can be edited manually within JPGallery, or you may add them by loading
      them from a specially formatted (HTML) text file.</FONT></LI>

  using Microsoft Windows95/98/NT and 2000.<BR>
  <BR>
  In order for the FTP client to work properly under WindowsNT 3.51, you need
  Service Pack 6; under WindowsNT 4.0, Service Pack 5 is necessary.&nbsp;
  Recommendations for Windows95 and Windows98 are OSR2 and SE,
  respectively.&nbsp; Also, the Windows Sockets Library 1.1 (or higher) must be
  present on your system.<BR>
  <BR>
  Current image handling routines require a 100% Intel Pentium compatible
  processor.<BR>
  <BR>
  Depending on the size of images you wish to use within your galleries, an
  appropriate amount of RAM and hard disk space will be necessary.</FONT></P>
