  Layout Type Settings</U></FONT><B><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="4" COLOR="#000080"><U>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</U></FONT></B></I></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2"><FONT COLOR="#000080"><B>Single Frame.</B>&nbsp;</FONT>
  The simplest type of gallery is one that uses only one frame shared by both
  the index and actual image pages.&nbsp; Choosing the <I><B>Frame Layout Type</B></I>
  <I>single frame</I> will create such a gallery.&nbsp; Whenever you select a
  thumbnail on one of the thumbnail pages, the browser will open the
  corresponding picture in the same frame.&nbsp; To get back to the thumbnail
  page, the user will have to either click the <I>Back</I> button of his or her
  browser, or one of the links specified in the <I><B>Page Links</B></I> tab.</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2"><B><FONT COLOR="#000080">Multiple Frame.&nbsp;
  </FONT></B>The second layout type is a multiple frame layout.&nbsp; There are
  four ways to position the thumbnail frame: to the left or the right of, above
  or below the actual image page.&nbsp; Selecting a thumbnail will open the
  corresponding picture in the second frame (named the image- or target
  frame).&nbsp; The thumbnail page will remain open so that the user will not
  have to return to it by clicking any button or link.</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2">The following images show a sample gallery
  created using the various layout types:</FONT></P>

  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2">These settings determine the names of the
  frame(s) used in the gallery.&nbsp; Note that a &quot;frame name&quot;, in
  this case, is neither a title nor a file name, but rather the HTML parameter
  you specify in a <I>frame name=&quot;&lt;frame_name&gt;&quot;</I> or <I>target=&quot;&lt;frame_name&gt;&quot;</I>
  statement.</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2"><B><I>Thumbnail Frame Name</I></B> will be
  the name of the frame containing the thumbnail pages, <I><B>Target Frame Name </B></I>will
  be the name of the frame containing the image pages or files.</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2">If you select the single frame layout type,
  you can still specify the name of the target frame.&nbsp; Usually though, you
  may want to leave this to be set to <I>_self</I>, meaning that the images will
  be displayed in the same frame as the thumbnails, as described above.</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2">Using a multiple frame layout type, you
  should give these two frames different names, and be careful not to use one of
  the predefined frame names such as <I>_self</I>, <I>_top</I>, <I>_parent</I>
  or <I>_blank</I>, unless you really wish to do so.</FONT></P>

  Frame Size Settings</U></FONT><B><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="4" COLOR="#000080"><U>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</U></FONT></B></I></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2">Here, you can set the sizes for all frames,
  either in pixels or in percent (of the browser window size).&nbsp; Use the <B><I>Size
  in %</I></B> check box to toggle between the two options.</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2">It is recommended to use the <I><B>Thumbnail
  Frame Determines Size</B></I> option in conjunction with absolute frame sizes
  (i.e. with a <I>deselected</I> <B><I>Size in %</I></B> check box), to make
  sure that the thumbnail pages have enough room to display all their pictures
  correctly.</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2">If you deselect <B><I>Thumbnail Frame
  Determines Size</I></B>, the thumbnail frame will be rendered into the space
  left in the browser window after the image frame has been drawn.</FONT></P>
