  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2">Each gallery has one or more thumbnail pages
  that are used as an index to the actual images contained in it.&nbsp;
  Essentially, a thumbnail is simply a smaller version of the actual image, used
  for quick browsing through the gallery.</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2">These thumbnails are arranged in tables on
  thumbnail pages that are linked to eachother.</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2">To modify the settings for thumbnails, click
  on the <B><I>Thumbnails</I></B> tab.</FONT></P>

  Thumbnail Page Settings</U></FONT><B><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="4" COLOR="#000080"><U>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</U></FONT></B></I></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2">To specify the prefix for thumbnail page
  files, set the value in the <I><B>Page File Prefix </B></I>field.&nbsp; If,
  e.g., you set this value to thumbpage_ then JPGallery will create thumbnail
  pages named &quot;thumbpage_1.html&quot; through &quot;thumbpage_n.html&quot;,
  where n is the number of thumbnail pages needed.&nbsp; This number depends on
  the number of pictures, and on how many thumbnail pictures you wish to place
  on one thumbnail page.</FONT></P>

  Thumbnail Image Settings</U></FONT><B><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="4" COLOR="#000080"><U>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</U></FONT></B></I></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2"><FONT COLOR="#000080"><B>File Settings.&nbsp;
  </B></FONT>As with the page file prefix, you can specify a prefix for the
  thumbnail images in the <B><I>Image File Prefix</I></B> field.&nbsp; <I>JPGallery</I>
  will append the name of the original image file to this prefix and then store
  the thumbnail in the (relative) sub directory specified in the <B><I>Sub</I></B>
  <B><I>Folder</I></B> field.</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2"><FONT COLOR="#000080"><B>Size Settings.</B>&nbsp;
  </FONT>The width and height of all thumbnails can be set in the corresponding
  fields on this tab.&nbsp; If you wish to maintain the aspect ratio (i.e. the
  ratio between width and height of the image), simply select the <I><B>Maintain
  Aspect Ratio</B></I> check box.&nbsp; Supposing you have chosen to maintain
  the aspect ratio, you may also specify whether you wish to set the width or
  the height of the thumbnail images; the other value of the two will then be
  set according to the ratio.</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2"><FONT COLOR="#000080"><B>Quality Setting.</B>
  </FONT>The JPG output quality of the thumbnail pictures can be set using the <I><B>Quality</B></I>
  slider control, or by directly entering the corresponding value in the field
  next to it.&nbsp; This value ranges from 1 to 100, where 100 means best
  quality.&nbsp; Note that better quality results in larger file sizes.</FONT></P>

  <P><I><FONT FACE="Verdana" COLOR="#000080" SIZE="4"><U><BR>
  Thumbnail Table Settings</U></FONT><B><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="4" COLOR="#000080"><U>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</U></FONT></B></I></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2">All thumbnails are arranged in tables.&nbsp;
  Here, you can set parameters for these tables, such as the number of rows and
  columns, table spacing values, colors and backdrop images as well as
  alignment.</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2"><FONT COLOR="#000080"><B>Rows and Columns
  Settings.</B>&nbsp; </FONT>Using the corresponding fields <I><B>Rows</B></I>
  and <I><B>Columns</B></I>, you can set the number of rows and columns of a
  thumbnail table.&nbsp; Note that the number of thumbnail pages created will
  typically increase with lower rows and columns values, depending on the number
  of pictures you have in the gallery.</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2"><FONT COLOR="#000080"><B>Table Parameter
  Settings.</B>&nbsp; </FONT>Using the parameters <B><I>Cell Spacing</I></B>, <I><B>Cell
  Padding</B></I> and <B><I>Border</I></B> you may set the amount of space
  between two table cells, between a cell border and the contents of the cell,
  and the size of the table border, respectively.</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2"><FONT COLOR="#000080"><B>Colors and Backdrop
  Settings.</B>&nbsp; </FONT>If you select the <B><I>Background Color</I></B>
  check box, you may choose a background color for the thumbnail tables using
  the button to its right.&nbsp; Otherwise, the tables will be transparent.</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2">In case you wish to add a backdrop image for
  the tables, you may specify the file name (including a path) in the <I><B>Backdrop
  Image</B></I> field.</FONT>&nbsp; <FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2">Note that
  backdrop images are not limited to JPG format but may actually be any format
  you wish, as long as your browser supports them too.&nbsp; You may also browse
  for an image file using a file dialog box by clicking on the browse button (<IMG BORDER="0" SRC="../graphics/browsebutton.gif" WIDTH="29" HEIGHT="21" ALIGN="middle">).</FONT></P>
  <P><FONT FACE="Verdana" SIZE="2"><FONT COLOR="#000080"><B>Table Alignment
  Setting.</B>&nbsp; </FONT>The <B><I>Table Alignment</I></B> field allows
  aligning the table in the browser window.&nbsp; Choose one of <I>center</I>, <I>left</I>,
  <I>right</I> or <I>fit width to page</I>.</FONT></P>
