  • This light-hearted demonstration shows well the extent to which this tree can be reconfigured by a web-designer with a graphics editor.
  • The design also won an award (from Gamelan) for its originality.
  • The main points demonstrated are:
    1. "Tree-structure" elements (normally dotted lines) can be redefined just like the entry icons themselves.
    2. The tree-structure icons, entry icons and scrollbar icons have been redrawn to create a common theme (applet-tree).
    3. Drag the apple on the right-hand scrollbar to operate the scrolling.
    4. A shadow-effect border has been placed around the applet.
    5. A small box has been chosen for the applet.
    6. If you click on some of the "page" entries (in the "test" folder, each marked "style..."), you will see the fruit going through phases of being eaten - this is the history-tracking feature marking active and visited pages.
