                4 Y2K Non-Compliance
                5 Y2K Non-Compliance
             Special Y2K Non-Compliance

3. Caution when testing
=======================
3.1 The operation of RDTS-V2 will always set the date into the future
such as the 1st January 2000, which may affected some application
softwares to misoperate due to the incorrect date and may be expired.
Therefore, in every testing, should boot from the RDTS diskette in
         drive A: only.

3.2 In some PC, the configuration in CMOS RAM is setup to make the system
always boot from drive C: so it prevents RDTS-V2 to function correctly.
Therefore user may require to enter a BIOS setup utility when boot and
enter the features setup menu. Then modifiy the boot sequence value
to be A: and then C:.

3.3 After testing finish, always check the date and time of PC to make
         sure they are correct.

3.4 If RDTS-V2 operates incompletely, check if there is AUTOEXEC.BAT file
exist (the old one, if there is, will be renamed to AUTOEXEC.RDT) then
delete it. You must correct the date and time also before continuing
         the test.

4. Advance Testing Procedure (For expert user)
==============================================
4.1 Testing without booting the computer.
In case the system reboot is not required while testing, you can use
         RDTS-V2 as followed.

                A:>RDTS-V2 /an

This type of test could classify the PC among "Class 1", "Class 2+",
         "Class 2" and "Class 3, 4 or 5" only.

Be careful not to test while working under the Windows environment
because the test result may not reliable and may cause damages.

     4.2 Cautions with computer viruses.
When testing with many computers by using diskette to boot at all of
PC, you may unintentionally spread the viruses to other computers.
Remember to write protect the diskette that is used to boot. But the
recommend RDTS-V2 standard testing procedure, the RDTS bootable disk
must disable the write protect. In case you could not take a risk and
have to enable this, you have to test in 2 steps process as described
         below.
         1. Enable write protect the RDTS boot diskette.
         2. Check viruses by standard virus detecting utilities (such as
AVI-SCAN from AVC-4000 utility set) with the RDTS disk and assure
that it does not have virus.
         3. Boot the computer from this diskette.
         4. After boot, do the first step by using RDTS-V2 with /a1 option.

			 A:>RDTS-V2 /a1

Follow the instructions on screen just a moment, then the program
forces the PC to reboot. Wait until you get a DOS prompt then use
RDTS-V2 to do the second step with /a2 option.

			 A:>RDTS-V2 /a2

Let RDTS-V2 operates until complete and show the result on the
             screen.
         5. If users want to keep the test result and conclusion as a report
file, they should use the other disk to keep a copy so the RDTS
boot diskette could be still write protect enabled.
         6. After testing, set the new date and time of the PC to a current
value by manual because in this testing the system date and time
will be modified which could not be restored.
