On systems with high memory utilization, under moderate-to-heavy loads, the
i2o_bs driver can return spurious errors on I/O operations to logical drives. 
The errors will not be in the error log but are seen by applications as
any of the following errors:

 o [EIO]  I/O error (error code 5)
 o [ENODEV]  No such device (error code 19)
 
This can occur with all variants of the KZPCC hardware and all system types.

You should always ensure that the latest firmware is being used.  Firmware
