ECO KIT SUMMARY:

This ECO kit contains a solution, in the form of a patch, for the following 
issue:

This patch changes Tru64 UNIX V5.1 Patch Kit 2 (BL03) so applications that 
directly manipulate memory buffer pointers get correct results.

This problem is exhibited when using Tarantella Enterprise 3 application server 
software to run applications on Tru64 UNIX V5.1; the UNIX system will hang 
requiring a power shutdown and system reboot to recover.

  
INSTALLATION NOTES:

Copy the ECO kit to the target system. Use 'tar' to extract the contents of the 
ECO kit.  

The patch is installed using the installation script located in the patch kit.  
Please read through the Release Notes and Patch Installation guide, included in 
the ECO kit, prior to installing patches.

The Release Notes summarizes the contents and any special installation notes.
The Patch Installation guide describes the installation procedures for this 
ECO kit.

Installation of this ECO kit requires Tru64 UNIX 5.1 Patch Kit 2 (BL03) be 
installed.
