A dupatch-based, Early Release Patch kit exists for HP Tru64 UNIX V5.1 that
contains solutions to the following problem(s):
HP Tru64 Engineering determined that fixfdmn may cause AdvFS domains
to be improperly repaired. This problem was reported on domains that
have property lists (ACLs or Access Control Lists) defined. When ACLs
are defined, fixfdmn incorrectly interprets that the property lists
are improper and removes the AdvFS mcells (metadata) associated with
these property lists. HP Tru64 Engineering has corrected this problem.

INSTALLATION NOTES:
Install this kit with the dupatch utility that is included in the patch
kit. You may need to baseline your system if you have manually changed
system files on your system. The dupatch utility provides the baselining
capability.
INSTALLATION PREREQUISITES:
You must have installed HP Tru64 UNIX V5.1 PK5 (BL19) prior to installing
this Early Release Patch Kit.
