The files

csa64xx.sys
csa64xx.tag
oemsetup.inf
txtsetup.oem

should be copied to an empty FAT diskette
which will be used as an adapter hardware support diskette
for Miata and Windows NT 4.0. Label this diskette:

	CMD CSA-64xx IDE driver

===

Case 1) Installing Windows NT 4.0 from the distribution CD.

After the HAL diskette is read by Windows NT setup, a SCSI
adapter selection screen will ask you if there are any other
mass storage adapters in addition to the Adaptec 29xx.

(This assumes that you have a SCSI adapter as the primary mass
storage controller. IDE-only systems will not detect any mass
storage controllers).

If your Miata contains an IDE CD-ROM (or IDE hard drive(s)),
you must select "S" to specify additional SCSI adapters
(yes, this sounds confusing). A short list will be displayed.

Select "Other" and use the IDE setup diskette you have just
created.

Case 2) Adding/updating the IDE driver from Windows NT 4.0

If you want to add the driver to a running system or if you
want to update the existing driver to a newer version, you
will use the same driver diskette you created above.

Open the MyComputer group on the desktop.
Open ControlPanel.
Open SCSI adapters.

A SCSI Adapters dialog box will appear. The CMD CSA-64xx
driver may or may not be visible in the list of Devices.

Click the Drivers tab. The CMD CSA-64xx driver may or may
not be visible in this list.

Click on Add...

An Install Driver dialog box will appear. Click Have Disk...

The Install From Disk dialog box will appear. Make sure that
the path in Copy manufacturer's files from: is set to

	A:\

Insert the diskette you created above and click OK.
