  Portable OpenVMS systems?
 The Question is:

We would like to demo our VMS software off-site.
Are there any laptops that run OpenVMS? Are
there any other options for running an X-windows
based OpenVMS application?

Thanks for any help,
Mitch

 The Answer is:

Tadpole Technology sold an ALPHAbook 1 laptop computer; the ALPHAbook
runs OpenVMS. Contact Tadpole (http://www.tadpole.com/) for product
  status and availability.

Smaller workstations are also generally "luggable". One older example
is the VAXstation 4000 VLC. Combined with a separate LCD panel capable
of SVGA and synch-on-green, this configuration could be moved around.
Other alternatives include the upcoming AlphaStation VS10 system, with
  an SVGA LCD panel.
