  Can OpenVMS Bootstrap from Fibre Channel? 
 The Question is:
 
i have an es40 attached to esa10000 with hsg80's
my main question is ..."Can VMS boot to a fiber attached drive?" i dont have a
 local drive on the es40.  do you have any notes on setting up this config for
 the hsg80 and the &gt;&gt; prompts.
i ran wwidmgr and i can see the drives. is that all i need to do

  Yes, OpenVMS can bootstrap from a disk accessed via Fibre Channel.
