Prerequisites for using MIME?
The Question is:

I Just read all the notes here about the new MIME utility...
Great news, It was needed. but Under the restrictions in help it implies
that if I create mime attachment for a file and send in mail
to another machine where the client uses and IMAP ( Netscape )
mail reader, they cannot read/see the attathment. Is this true?
Question 2. when I try to create a new file to send out I get
and error/warning. and no file gets created. I have tried the
$mime <filename> from dcl prompt and the open/new <filename>
from the mime prompt.
   $ mime newfile.txt
    Mime> add login.com
%MIME-W-NOMSGOPEN, No currently active message
    mime> close
    mime> save
    mime> exit

    $ mime
    mime> open/new test.txt
%RMS-E-FNF, file not found
%MIME-W-NOMSGOPEN, No currently active message

The documention I have states this is how I would create a new file. What I am
i missing. Any help would be apprieciated...

  Please see the SFF information discussed here, and please ensure you
  have the current MIME ECO kit and the current TCP/IP Services V5.0A
  with ECO or (better) V5.1 (or later) installed.

  In particular, please see topic (4492) for details on MIME and SFF.
