Replacing DECserver 250 parallel printer server?
 The Question is:

I have one remaining DS250 in my network. I have all but removed bridging (LAT)
 from my WAN.
Since the DS250 is old technology, but I have parallel printers that for the
moment, cannot be migrated to IP as of yet, what implementations do I have
with regards to local MOP operations in support of this one device? I would
 prefer to remove MOP entire
ly from the WAN, but to do so, I would need to find a alternate (Windows) based
solution for the local loading of MOP for this device. Any ideas?

 The Answer is :

Consider an HP JetDirect; an external NIC for parallel printer access.
Internal, external, and wireless versions are available. The JetDirect
is the direct IP-based analog of the DECserver 250 device.
