NOTE: Before attaching the CDROM drive to the AC1070EXT adapter (Internal or  
External) run the reference diskette and change configuration of AC1070EXT to:
	
	- Slave drive is (ATAPI Device)

When installing an ATAPI/IDE drive as the only device attach to the AC1070EXT, 
be sure to disable the ROM BIOS on AC1070EXT adapter. To disable the ROM BIOS 
you need to:

	- Boot system with reference diskette
	- Select Change Configuration
	- Find the AC1070EXT configuration and change the ROM BIOS address to
		- ROM DISABLE
	- Save and re-boot system

-Preparation and Installation of the IDE CDROM drive

Look in your CDROM drive manual and follow steps to configure and 
install your CDROM drive. These steps include attaching the IDE cable 
to the drive, and mounting the drive in the appropriate enclosure (Internal
or External). 

- Software Installation

After completing the installation of AC1070EXT and your CDROM drive 
you will need to run the setup utility to install the software drivers.

	- Exit from any menu programs, MS Dosshell or Windows and 
	  terminate any memory resident program or virus detection 
	  program, before running the Setup Program.

	- Place the AC1070EXT Reference diskette in the floppy drive, 
	  and change from the hard drive to the floppy drive. For 
	  example the hard disk drive is drive C: and the floppy 
	  drive is drive A:, type the following:
		
		- C:\> A:               and press the Enter key.

	- At the A: prompt type:
		
		-A:\>CD\ MCDROM  and press the Enter key. At the
		 
		-A:\MCDROM\ prompt type MCDSETUP and press Enter

		(The setup program will install the MCDROM 
		 driver to the hard disk drive)

	NOTE: The MCDROM driver will replace the drivers that came with 
	      your ATAPI/IDE CDROM drive
