DESCRIPTION: The system will lock up during the OS2 installation process.

SOLUTION: Follow the steps below.

1. use the AC-1070 REV D-1 board, and EPROM version 3.04 and up.
           -------------
2. Make a copy of your OS2 installation diskette.
3. Copy the file AC1070.BIO to the copy of the installation diskette.
4. Add the line AC1070.BIO to the ABIOS.SYS file located on your installation
   diskette.
5. Start your OS/2 installation.
6. After diskette number five, when the system tells you to remove the
diskette and reboot, instead of booting from the hard drive, do the
   following:

        FOR FAT SYSTEM:
                A. Boot from a DOS diskette, and copy the file AC1070.BIO to
the OS2 directory on your hard drive.
                B. Add the line AC1070.BIO to the top of your ABIOS.SYS file
located in the OS2 directory on your hard drive.

        FOR HPFS SYSTEM

                A. Boot from the OS2 installation diskette. Next put diskette
one in the floppy drive, and press enter. When diskette one
is through booting you will have a choice to press enter or
ESC, you should press ESC, and then switch to the C:
                   drive.
                B. After you get the C: prompt, copy the file AC1070.BIO to
the OS2 directory on your hard drive.
                C. Add the line AC1070.BIO to the top of your ABIOS.SYS file
located on your hard drive in the OS2 directory.

7. Boot your system from the C: drive and continue the OS2 installation.

8. Good luck.
