Installation
============

    o Use the Radius Installation program as described below, not the
      Microsoft Setup program.

    o Install Windows for VGA, not Video Seven VGA.

    o Under the "File" menu of the program manager, choose "Run".

    o In the dialog box, type "A:INSTALL". All necessary files are
      copied to the hard disk and the WIN.INI file is updated.

    o Several files, along with drivers for both resolution modes will
      be copied over to the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. You will then
      be asked to "restart Windows". Windows will restart in the
      resolution selected during the installation.

Additions
=========

    o The program "PVTCTRL.EXE" is inserted into the "LOAD=" line of the
      WIN.INI file. This provides the capability to dynamically pivot.

    o A preferences applet has been added. In Windows 3.1 it will be
      installed in the control panel. In Windows 3.0 it will appear
      in the main group. If you can not find it under Windows 3.0
      because another program manager is in use, you can locate it in
      your windows directory as "PVTPREF.EXE".

      To test the compatibility of the refresh with your display, choose
      the "Test" option after selecting a refresh rate. Once you are
      sure that the new refresh rate will work, select the "Set" option.
      Your display will automatically be updated without having to
      restart Windows.

      See the section below for additional information on preferences.

    o A section is added to the WIN.INI file under the header
      [Radius Driver].	The variables are:

      ForceOrientation=Dynamic
      PivotKey=Shift+Ctrl+P
      VerticalRefreshHz=57
      ColorRes=6

      ForceOrientation - Set to Dynamic to allow pivoting when the
      Full Page Pivot display is rotated or when the pivot hot key
      sequence is pressed. Landscape and Portrait options force the
      monitor into those respective orientations. The valid values
      are Dynamic, Landscape and Portrait.

      PivotKey - This variable is used to indicate the hot key combination
      that can be used to pivot the desktop when the ForceOrientation
      variable is set to Dynamic. The valid values are
      [Shift+][Ctrl+][A-Z,0-9,F1-F12].

      VerticalRefreshHz - This variable is used to indicate the
      vertical refresh of the 1024x768 mode. The monitor must be
      capable of the frequency before setting it, or the monitor will
      not sync correctly. The valid values are 43(Interlaced), 57(Pivot),
      60, 70, 72, and 75.

      ColorRes - This variable is set by the preference box for color
      resolution. This should be set to 8 bits per gun, unless an
      application directly programs values for the RAMDAC or unless
      the SVGA MultiView is attached to an 8514/a style card using
      a pass through cable. The valid values are 6 or 8.
