Introduction
============

The NT 4.0 driver 95Panel.sys allows the user to
customize the messages appearing on the 8 digit
LED panel of IBM PS/2 8595 and 9595 computers, and
the IBM PC Server 500.

This archive should contain the following files:

	* regini.exe	(registry app)
	* 95Panel.exe	(test application)
	* 95Panel.sys	(the driver)
	* 95Panel.ini	(registry info)
	* Readme.txt	(this file)

Driver Installation
===================

To install the 95Panel driver, do these steps:

* Make sure you have administrator rights

* Open a command window

* Change into the directory containing regini.exe

* Enter the command:

	regini 95panel.ini

* Copy the driver executable to the Windows directory:

	copy 95panel.sys %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers

* Reboot your computer

Driver Deinstallation
=====================

To remove the driver, you need to do two things:

* Remove the file %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\95panel.sys

* Remove the registry entry with RegEdit32:

	HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/95Panel

Running the Application 95Panel.exe
========================================

Once the driver has been installed and the computer
rebooted, you may modify the driver settings by
using the 95Panel.exe file. If you launch the
application and an error message appears saying the
driver is not loaded you may want to check the
Devices control panel to ensure the driver has been
started.
