File: README for Audio Capture and Playback Adapter demonstrations

Congratulations on the purchase of your new Audio Capture and Playback
Adapter for the IBM Personal System 2. Included is a demo program to
allow you to play with, and experience some of the capabilities of this
  card.

To run the demo program, you'll need to have an IBM Personal System 2
with an MCGA or VGA compatible display. You will also need to have
installed the Audio Capture and Playback Adapter according to the
instructions in the documentation. You can use either the microphone or
line inputs, and headphones or line outputs of the card with the demo
  program.

We recommend that you copy the demo program files to your hard disk
(if your system has one). To do so, create a subdirectory on your
hard disk, and copy the contents of the demo subdirectory on this
diskette to it. For example, to create a subdirectory on your C:
drive named AUDDEMO, you would do the following:

     C:
     CD \
     MD AUDDEMO
     CD AUDDEMO
     COPY A:\DEMO\*.*

To start the demo program, make the directory containing the demo files
the current directory (CD AUDDEMO in the example above), then type
"G" from the DOS or OS/2 command prompt.

Notes:

 1. Currently the first 2 instrument sounds (Bell and Cymbal) in the
music demo don't work, and produce silence if selected.

 2. Switching in and out of OS/2 while the music demo is playing a song
may hang the system. The user should stop the demo before switching
     screen modes.
