File: README for M-Audio Capture and Playback Adapter diagnostics.

The M-Audio Capture and Playback Adapter program ACPADIAG, is a diagnostic
program to test your card and allow you to become familiar with some of
its capabilities. Refer to the instructions in the documentation for
  more information on the diagnostics.

We recommend that you copy the diagnostic program to your hard disk
(if your system has one). To do so, create a subdirectory on your
hard disk, and copy the contents of the diagnostic subdirectory on this
diskette to it. For example, to create a subdirectory on your C:
drive named AUDDIAG, you would do the following:

     C:
     CD \
     MD AUDDIAG
     CD AUDDIAG
     COPY A:\DIAG\*.*

To start the diagnostic program, make the directory containing the
diagnostics the current directory (CD AUDDIAG, in the example above),
then type "ACPADIAG" from the DOS command prompt. If you wish to run the
advanced diagnostics type "ACPADIAG /A" from the DOS command prompt.

  NOTE:

If you are using the diagnostics with other audio applications running
in the background and experience a "Shared Memory" error, please change
the address location of the ACPA card via the reference diskette.
