EXPLANATION:

This package contains fixes to date for Central Point Backup
included in PC DOS 6.3 on IBM Personal Computers. Some of the
symptoms of the problems are:

        a. "Integer Divide by Zero" error in Central Point Backup
            for Windows.
        b. Global memory lock problem with Central Point Backup
for Windows with PC DOS 6.3.
        c. Incomplete restores and compares in Central Point Backup
for DOS in which the user is not prompted to insert
            additional diskettes/tapes from multi-diskette/tape
            backups.
        d. Floppy drive light hang condition after exiting Central
            Point Backup for Windows.

Similar symptoms have been reported on other fast processor
systems and these fixes may be applied to those systems.
However, the problems may persist because this package was
provided by Central Point as fixes for only IBM Personal Computers.
If, after these fixes have been applied, problems persist with
Central Point Backup, please call the appropriate software
support center.
