Linux BASP 6.2.2 update for Linux 7.1.9 drivers software release from 
the 7.0.5 Drivers Software CD Release.

This release supports up to Linux kernel 2.4.20.

This release supports both ia386 and ia64 CPU platforms.

1.0  Overview

This package provides the Linux BASP version 6.2.2 as a BASP software
update to the current BASP version 6.1.2 release from 7.0.5 CD.

The Linux driver to be used should be 7.1.9.

Linux Kernel level supported is up to 2.4.20.

This software release support xSeries options 22P7801, 31P6301, and
31P6401.

New updates with v6.2.2 BASP:

1) Fix for occasional Linux BASP panics during ifconfig up.

2) Add logic to detect IP address change of team aliases to avoid
BASP sending stale ARP requests, which can result in the clients
losing connections and dropping off from the network.

3) Update ARP cache searches to match both source and destination
IP addresses to allow proper failover in team with multiple IP
addresses with aliases.

included in the package.

Refer to the readme file that come with the package.

For Linux driver, pick up the 7.1.9 driver from 7.0.5 CD release.
For BASP with Linux, replace BASP 6.1.2 from 7.0.5 CD release with
BASP 6.2.2 from this package.
